…and I’ve already typed “Twitter.com” and “Facebook.com” into my browser a half dozen times.

How is cutting back on (just a part of) this…

Feels like this?

But like a smoker who’s lungs are starting to heal, I can already feel some positive effects, like:

  1. The “phantom pain” starts to fade after a couple of hours. Now that I’ve decided to step out, the anxiety/FOMO about what’s breaking on Twitter dissipates almost immediately.
  2. I’m just less hyped up because I don’t have access to short form hot takes or arguments tempting me to jump in.
  3. I still have stuff to say to the world, which pushes me places like…well, like here.

So one new thing I’m doing is a more casual podcast that won’t ever reach a very big audience, called Seth Tower Hurd and Friends.

Still doing the business podcast (although we’re on a bit of a hiatus) The Consulant and the Millennial.

More new stuff to come.

Need me in the meantime, [name]at[gmail]
